Mr. Ed Hofland, Chairman of Board

Mr. Hofland holds the position of chairman at Ardag, a $25 million aquaculture company in Eilat. Mr. Hofland previously served in various managerial positions, including the management of the Southern Arava Regional Agricultural Research Station of the Agriculture Ministry and the management of a unified group of enterprises owned jointly by ten communities in the Arava area, specializes in packaging and marketing agricultural produce.

Mr. Hagay Tzur, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Tzur has more than 23 years of varied industrial management experience at all levels. Prior to joining AlgaTech, Mr. Tzur served for 10 years as the CEO of Davik, a world renowned company producing self-adhesive tapes and as VP of a private start-up incubator company.

Mrs. Efrat Kat, International Marketing Manager

Mrs. Kat holds an MBA and a BSc degree in chemistry from Tel-Aviv University. She has vast experience in international sales and marketing management at the chemicals, specialty ingredients and cosmetics industries. Prior to joining AlgaTech, Mrs. Kat served as the CEO of a start - up company in the field of natural active ingredients to the food, nutrition and cosmetics industries

Dr. Oran Ayalon, Research & Development Manager

Dr. Ayalon holds a PhD in Cell Biology/Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science
(Rehovot,Israel) and an MBA degree from Bar-Ilan University (Ramat-Gan ,Israel). In addition, Dr. Ayalon completed 4 years of post-doctoral training at the Boyer Center for Molecular Medicine" at Yale University (New Haven, CT, USA). During the last 10 years, Dr. Ayalon held senior R&D and Business Development positions in several Biotech companies, developing innovative products for drug-delivery, targeting and cell-therapy. Prior to joining AlgaTech, Dr. Ayalon served as the CEO of a start-up company in the field of oral bio-pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Mike Harris, Production Manager

Mr. Harris is a graduate of the Israeli Standards Institute Quality Assurance program. Prior to joining AlgaTech, Mr. Harris held various management positions including CEO of Kibbutz Ketura and general manager of the Ketura branch of a large successful irrigation company.

Mr. Noah Morris, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Morris has served in the position of CFO of AlgaTech since March 2003. He holds an M.A. degree in statistics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is an Israel certified chartered accountant. Mr. Morris has vast experience as CFO of several kibbutzim and serves as an accountant for several NGOs.
